Cryptic plantings in Northbourne Ave 'garden'?

Apologies if this question has been posted already (try as I might I couldn’t find a similar posting), but I was wondering if anyone knew of a website that lists the meanings behind what’s planted in the ‘garden’ at the top of Northbourne Ave?

I was able to work out MHF 25 (thanks Google), but when I drive past each day it bugs me if I don’t know, so a central place for explanations of these sometimes-cryptic plantings would be great.

mental health 25 years? Does that mean we have had self government for that long?

Its only this week that I have been able to make out what it says. I guess it finally bloomed into shape. Or I am just getting old and losing my ability to distinguish between colours and shades.

But thanks for posting this, and thanks for the information on what this one means.

I reserve the right to post questions about future floral displays that make no sense to me.

iha (i hate acronyms) – though ‘mental health foundation, happy twenty fifth birthday, dude’ is a lot of flowers.

yup, you’re right. obviously it wasn’t intuitive enough for me to work it out without Google help!

yes, i was right – see http://www.mhf.org.au/mhf/

Mental Health Foundation’s 25th birthday?

For all the wrong reasons I think having “Spastic Centre” on City Hill has been the best planting to date.

Care to relay the MHF 25 meaning?
