Big news for those who follow online media tonight: the Canberra Times has made a mid-day update on their website.

The bots scanning local useful websites for changes picked up the story in their 8pm sweep, meaning it went up sometime in the the four hours prior.

A cursory check of the print edition appears to show that, possibly more exciting, the story is not in today’s print version.

I do hope this signals a new era for the CT’s website because it could become a good resource with (quite a lot of) work.

(Oh, and the story in question is about Prince Charles’s distaste for wind farms, by science reporter Rosslyn Beeby)

Even better this story was in last Satuday’s (29 April page B3, for those of you playing at home) print version of the CT. Wow! That’s only 6 days behind!!

BTW, what is wrong with wind farms, freaking nimbys…
