ACT Policing have arrested a 28-year-old Lyneham man after responding to a disturbance last night.
Around 10.30pm yesterday (Thursday, 21 July) police arrived at a house in Lyneham to find a male victim suffering serious facial lacerations and possible fractures.
The victim was able to identify his alleged attacker, whom police located a short time later hiding inside a cupboard in a neighbouring house.
While searching for the male, police also located a number of items which had been stolen from the victim.
The 28-year-old man was conveyed to the ACT Watch House and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, burglary, resist arrest and make threats towards a Commonwealth Official.
