Cyclist taken to hospital after being hit by car in Gunghalin

A cyclist has been taken to hospital with lower leg injuries after being hit by a car in Gunghalin this morning (7 May).

Around 9:30 am, emergency services were called to a crash involving a cyclist on Gozzard Street, Gungahlin.

ACT Ambulance Service paramedics arrived to find a male cyclist with lower leg injuries.

He was assessed at the scene by intensive care paramedics and has been transported to hospital in a stable condition.

An ACT Policing spokesperson said officers responded to reports of a collision involving a car and a cyclist in Gozzard Street Gungahlin but investigations at the scene suggested no offences were committed.
