Cyclist treated for heart attack

ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics are treating a 60-year-old male who has suffered a heart attack at Honeysuckle Creek camp ground, Namadgi National Park.

The patient was a competitor in a bicycle event and has been taken to The Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.

Fellow competitors contacted Emergency Triple Zero (000) at 3.57pm.
