Vikings (and Brumbies) fans are set to see another case of forwards Vs backs rivalry, as speedster Frankie Fainifo takes on hardman Jules Salavi on the dance floor. I first saw this last week but hadn’t heard anything further until a brief mention on the news this morning. It sounds like it still hasn’t gone ahead – maybe they are waiting until the end of the ARC incase they get injured attempting some kind of breakdance flamenco split. In the Brumbies 07 season guide it is staed Salvi “enjoys showing off his moves on the dance floor”, but Fainifo showed on the weekend he has some pretty good footwork of his own – on the field at least.
Update: The dance off will go ahead on Thursday 13 Sept at 10:30pm at Academy!
To promote responsible drinking the ACT Office of Regulatory Services will be putting down $500 for the winner (did anyone mention to them this was a dancing competition between rugby players?). Both Frankie and Jules have promised to donate the winnings to Lifeline.
