Yesterday we were intrigued by gun-nut psychiatrically-flagged AVO-awardee anti-semite parliament house lift tech Darryl Potts getting his firearms licence back on appeal to the NSW Administrative Decisions Tribunal.

Today Skidbladnir has pointed us at the incandescent response of the Jewish community via the jwire website.

Jwire is carrying calls for political interference in the judiciary to take pottsy’s guns away:

“When the NSW Government is replaced, I hope Administrative Decision Tribunal member Peter Molony is also replaced. He is obviously incompetent and unsuitable for the job.”

I just want to point out the story was run by The herald sun. One more time, The Herald sun. #1 Gossip rag. For shame.

Did he say that or was it just what we have received via the news?

I do see that it makes mention of an alleged professional evaluation being a threat? Where is the evidence to support that?

Well, the shrink assessed the guy, and reported that he was a danger.

The court disagreed. So he got his guns back.

I fail to see which part of reporting all that is bad. If anything, reporting that the court is willing to consider other conclusions then those of a psychiatric assessment should make nuts people feel less likely to be locked up.

As previously stated, it is foolhardy to report on mental health issues unless all the facts are reported along with context. It reads like the person is a risk to us all with access to guns!! I doubt that is the case. Why would anyone say such a thing?

Because the psych said it?

Unless you have read the report from the treating psychiatrist I urge you to report on mental health matters with caution and accuracy. This man’s views aside, mental health details of a person should not be reported. It helps no body. If you would like some examples I am happy to send you some.

This story doesn’t comment on his mental health, other then to say that it had been flagged as an issue.

The Herald Sun has a fascinating story on Parliament House elevator tech Darryl Potts who has won the fight to restore his gun licence despite being professionally evaluated as a threat to public safety and holding views deemed by a tribunal to be extreme and offensive.

Yes CaptRAAF, the hook-nosed blighters are playing the long game. That jewish monolith is just getting its ducks in a row for world domination. Once the guns are banned, it’ll be stars of david flying on the parliament house flagpole and Macdonalds going kosher by lunchtime. Says so in Protocols of the Elders of Zion, which, as we know, is not a hoax but the mother of all wikileaks.

All that stands between that are you and me and our guns. Yessir.

You can have my .22 when you pry it from my cold dead hand.

Empty vessels make the most noise.

Hmm…so the Jews want to take our guns away so they can be safe……..safe in the knowledge that they are the only buggers left with guns?

I think Potts should have the right to own any artillery he wants.

As long has he’s denied access to oxygen.

That quote is attributed to a Federal Labor MP, no less.

But why does the headline refer to this joker as “Canberra Anti-Semite”? He might work in the ACT, but surely he lives outside its borders if he’s appealing to a NSW tribunal?
