Canberra’s Jay Sullivan is an incredibly funny guy. If you haven’t read his blog, get around it – it’s brilliant:

Has anyone seen Nate Myles response with a somewhat amused look on his face?

“No, not at all. How good is it? Let’s be honest, everyone wants to see it. I don’t think he should get charged. That’s just the way it goes,” Myles said.

“To be honest I’d leave it on the field. That’s Origin. He got a couple of good ones on me but the fortunate thing is we get to do it again.”

I’m with HC on this, it was the best bit of the match as far a I could see.

A player punches an opponent in State of Origin sparking an all in brawl.

In other shocking news, the sun will set today and is predicted to rise again tomorrow.

I was sitting amongst Blatchy’s Blues last night and thought that the few thousand people wearing blue wigs and chanting Gallen’s name after the incident was pretty disgusting. Aside from the issue of whether anyone should punch someone when virtually unprovoked, the idiot gave up a penalty.

While he has come a long way from his former bad self, he still shows all the signs of the grub he once was.

Personally I think Paul Gallen should have been charged by the police with assault.

That wasn’t two blokes having a blue it was just one bloke bludgeoning another man who wasn’t hitting him back.

Ah yes but of course had that occurred here then all Gallen need say is ‘he looked at me all funny like and I thought that he was gonna take a swing at me so I got in first’. Refshauge’s response would be well Paul if you thought that was a reasonable thing to do then self-defence it is son and by the way well done on the win last night.

Both parties would have died from natural causes waiting for the Honourable Justice to give a decision.
