Very sad news, my thoughts go out to the Nowra man’s family.

I hope you feel better soon thatsnotme, and well done to the defence riders who assisted.

I think the rider was actually competing in a defence event, and was in a downhill race at the time.

I’m currently waiting to be discharged from hospital, after having a bad fall at stromlo on Wednesday, which has left me with a badly broken arm and dislocated shoulder. It was the defence riders who got to me first, helped me down the mountain, and when the ambos were tied up, drove me to hospital. The guy who dropped me off even went to the trouble is of dropping my bike back to my place for me. They all went way above and beyond for a stranger, and I couldn’t have been in better hands. My condolences go out to this man’s family and colleagues.
