Death at the Playhouse?

Around 7:10pm, I was wandering away from the Canberra Playhouse with a friend after making some inquiries about My Fair Lady tickets.

While wandering down to catch the bus home, we saw an ambulance pull into the courtyard, not in a rush, no lights blaring, no siren, nothing.

A while later my friend (who was meant to see Land’s End that night) calls me to say the show had been canceled roughly ten minutes before curtain. She also informed me that the same ambulance we had seen pull in, had also pulled away very slowly, around forty minutes after it had pulled in.

Obviously, we made our conspiracy theories about what had happened, mostly morbid ones of course. At the present time this is all the information we have available, but anyone who knows more is welcome to share.

One of the male actors overdosed on Viagra?

I would have a rough estimate that someone died.

What if this cursed hand
Were thicker than itself with brother’s blood,
Is there not rain enough in the sweet heavens
To wash it white as snow?

Just goes to prove that, amazingly, people die in places other than hospitals. Astounding stuff.
