The ABC has a piece on the latest blockbuster at the National Gallery.

This time it features the works of Edgar Degas and they hope it will top Turner.

NGA director Ron Radford says the Degas: Master of French Art exhibition will be exclusive to Canberra.

“Only to Canberra and the first time in the southern hemisphere, probably the only time because it’s taken us three years to secure those 120 works,” he said.

The NGA has a page for the exhibition online.

Ain’t it time to get rid of Degas. It’s out of here already.

Sweet – saw a Degas exhibition at MOMA in 2005 and it was stunning. We have been getting some real blockbusters recently.

My wish-list for future exhibitions:
– Marc Chagall
– Raoul Dufy
– Anything 20th century

Oh. I thought you could buy some De-gas from the chemist at any time…

Anyone else have an issue with the trailer crashing their browser? (opera/firefox)?

Excellent! But Degas can’t top Turner for me – Degas is lovely, but Turner is sublime!

I am very happy. love the work and will be first in line!
