Delegate Public School kids have a ball in Canberra

Thumper 5 July 2007 6

The Bombala Times has a nice little story about years 3 and 4 students from Delegate Public School and how much they enjoyed an excursion to Canberra.

Apparently they went to OPH, CSIRO, the AIS (Must be Canberra, acronyms everywhere), the Dinosaur Museum, Parliament House, the National Zoo and Aquarium, the NMA, and the AWM.

Quite a packed trip for three days.

Anyway, we’re glad the kids had a good time in our beautiful, albeit, cold, wet and windy city.

I envy the person who doesn’t know how paid parking works…. much simpler life…

I met someone in a carpark the other day who was up in the “big smoke” from Bega, and I seriously had to explain how the parking ticket machine worked to them.

Wot, no Questacon?!

Nice they enjoyed themselves. They wouldn’t have been whinging about the cold, at any rate, as Bombala is pretty blessed in that regard like Canberra.
