Spotted this whilst out in one of Canberra’s newest suburbs early this morning. One of the dangers of building straight off the plan homes i guess. Still, I can’t believe they couldn’t make the path meander to the side or something.

This happened a few times during early construction in Dunlop.

On the contrary – free path lighting. Very smart.

I would however be more concerned about the plantings blocking the nature strip.

This is unbelievable. To think that a group of people spent a considerable amount of time planning where the lights and paths should go, and then more people spent more time actually building it, and not one of them stopped and actually thought about what they were doing?
