Did you see the Higgins collision?

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a collision that occurred in Higgins yesterday afternoon (Thursday, 31 October).

At 3.30pm a silver Hyundai Accent was driving north bound down Kingsford Smith Drive, Higgins when it collided into a light pole near the intersection of Wirraway Crescent.

The occupant of the vehicle was required to be cut free by the ACT Fire Brigade and was taken to The Canberra Hospital.

Police are urging witnesses who were in the area to come forward and provide information to police.

In particular police would like to speak to the driver of yellow sports car with a rear spoiler, or anyone who may have seen this car in the area at the time of the collision.

That’s not the only howler in this one. To pick a random example, “the intersection of” should be “the intersection with.” And there are others.

They never fail to disappoint.
