For those of you who enjoy some good cartoonist work, here’s a small video the ANU have put up to help promote Dirt Files: A Decade of Best Australian Political Cartoons.

Russ Radcliffe, editor of Dirt Files:A Decade of Best Political Cartoons, and Professor John Uhr from the School of Politics and International Relations at ANU, review ten years in Australian politics through the cartoons which have captured the decade, and reflect on the figures and issues which have defined an era as we move into election season.

Political cartoons forum and the launch of Dirt files: A decade of best Australian political cartoons was held at ANU on 15 July 2013 at the ANU School of Art.

Russ’ last name is mis-spelt in the tag. Prof John Uhr was a Senate committee secretary many years ago before returning to academia. He was my post-grad teacher at one stage – a top bloke. I wish he wrote opinion pieces for the Crimes more often.

Well spotted. Fixed.

Well there have been some brilliant cartoons over the years. Will have a squiz when next in the ABC shop to see if I’ll fork out 40 bucks..
