Thats nothing new from Supabarn Kaleen.

I’m surprised it’s even in date !

Threepence saved snout gained. As nobody’s grandmother used to say.

Coles at Chisholm are selling fish fillets “Made in China from fish caught in New Zealand”
Sounds a bit like their fresh bread “Made in Ireland” but baked fresh in our store today.

… and what is this “straight from a farm” BS? What? it didn’t go to an abattoir? I can’t hear the screaming of pigs out the back so obviously they are no slaughtered here in Kaleen. Who would buy meat that had not been hung for an appropriate time period (well I can answer that, some of the beef clearly has not had enough hanging time)?

This is the same supermarket whose recorded message, played ever half hour or so over the PA claims that they are “proud to exceed all customer expectations”… they ain’t seen my expectations! Another message on the same rotation says that they support the responsible sale of alcohol and tobacco and that they WILL NOT sell these products to customers under 18. Good to know that it is their own sense of ethics driving this restriction, not the fact that it is the law and they run the risk of massive fines.

Talking about rotation, they seem to have had the one CD of pop in their muzak system forever. I hesitate to ask them to change it or they may get the bright idea to play Christmas songs in a few months. Bah, humbug.

Ha! Awesome totally awesome
