If today is Thursday then it must be time for the DIY Wotz on guide!

The concept is simple, use the comments box to bung in events that you’re enthusiastic about occurring over the next week, but specifically the weekend.

Thanks for your help!

Not sure who is playing is at the Pot tonight. But Joan was giving them big wraps, so they must be alright.

I hang my head in disgust!

Thumper! Bonfire! Hands off my leg and listen up – the nice man is speaking…..

Sorry Johnboy. You know you are the only one I love really. (Hangs head in shame).

I am paying attention now.

If lurkergal, bonfire and thumper can, for just a moment, tear themselves away from their touching flirtation?

Citysearch have an interesting piece on the Mirror City: Urban & Intimate Geographies exhibition on at the Huw Davies Gallery in Manuka.

This exhibition contrasts two very different views of Canberra: photographer Rozalind Drummond’s almost generic urban vignettes and Mary Hutchison’s natural landscapes, together with text.

Runs until 09-MAY-05.

Thumper: It’s a wanton thing, I think….

Oh also (sorry forgot it before) the Thredbo Jazz Festival all weekend. From memory it’s a bit expensive though.

Old Parliament House open day on Sunday (nice trip out with mum…). There’s a 1940s theme with apparently swing music, vintage cars and vintage girls. Oh and roof top tours. More details at http://www.oph.gov.au/content.asp?pageID=212
Also apparently (not entirely sure about this one) the War Memorial is having an open day on Saturday.

It’s last weekend of RETURN TO THE FORBIDDEN PLANET at the Street Theatre (6247 1223). Over 200 people last night and the theatre ROCKED!

Oh can I come????????? I look FABULOUS as a wench…..
