We’ve had technical difficulties with our normal DIY photo, hopefully we can get that fixed later today.

But that shouldn’t stop you blazing away with helpful suggestions for things to see and do around town this weekend.

So come on Canberra, entertain!

i saw on smh.com that the ait guitar finals are on, anyone know where and when? it didnt mention it.

See Dylan Sat not Fri! Contrary to a local gig guide wot got itself a little confused in all the excitement, the tribute to the music of Bob Dylan and The Band is definitely on Saturday night 13 June, 8pm (doors/bar 7pm), at the Polish White Eagle Club (Turner, opp O’Connor Shops), not tonight!!! Sanjiva de Silva and Craig Dawson are Dylans, and The Lenders have snuck out of semi retirement to kick some musical behind as Levon and the lads aka The Band.

Super extra fun surprise Glaciers acousticified gig!

Saturday 13 June – 11am
Shepherds Run Winery
344 Norton Road, Wamboin NSW

See us play a chilled set, in one of Canberra’s best wineries.

Have lunch and enjoy the ambience! (the wine is great too!)

i reckon you just pasted it, but if you typed it out – good one.

Fantastic Townsville band ‘The Middle East’
The Front, Lyneham. 10pm Friday night.

I heard them on Triple J this morning and it made my day so I had to find out who they were. Just so happens they’re playing here! Their music is just truly beautiful.

Have a listen.

Staying inside where it’s warm. Ordering food from local places that deliver.

And when the delivery dude knocks on the front door, greeting him in my homemade snugglie (http://blogs.crikey.com.au/crikey/2009/06/11/crikey-roadtest-the-snuggie-the-blanket-with-sleeves/). I cut holes in an old throw rug and “stitched” the sleeves with a hot glue gun.

Is it too late to talk that Walter Burley-Griffin fella into building this place 500m lower and closer to the coast?
