The Basement will see the welcomed return of Aussie hardcore heavyweights TOE TO TOE with I EXIST, EYE-GOUGE! and ALL IN BRAWL.

TOE TO TOE have been around since 1992, 3 albums, 4 EPs a stack of overseas tours in addition to their relentless attack on ours shores has concreted TOE TO TOE as the most accomplished homegrown hardcore band to grace our fine country.

I EXIST are far from newcomers to the scene. Featuring members of Slowburn and Hardluck, these guys have earnt their stripes! Keep your eye out for the new release – Three Nails and a Book of Flaws out soon on Midnight Funeral Music

EYE-GOUGE! is one of Canberra’s finest hardcore bands at the moment. They play hard, fast, aggressive hardcore with pissed off, honest lyrics. With influences from bands such as Infest, Negative FX and Black Flag, EYE-GOUGE! are staying true to the hardcore genre and becoming a band that people all over Australia are talking about.

ALL IN BRAWL is a local oi/hardcore band who’ve blended working class oi and aggressive 80’s sounding hardcore into their own sound. With influences ranging from hardcore bands such as 86Mentality and Negative Approach to more traditional oi bands like the 4Skins and Condemned 84, ALL IN BRAWL are fast becoming a force in the Australian oi and hardcore scenes.
