There’s a hell of a lot going on this weekend. I’m saying bollocks to all that and getting away from it all at Corinbank.

Tonk have cancelled their appearance at ANU tonight, but are appearing at the Bushfire benefit on Sunday.

Hey, what’s the details on that Vivaldi, Bach and Tchaikovsky event in the photo – I can’t make it out?

The Identical Strangers (www.theidenticalstrangers.com) are playing at the Mawson Club on Saturday night.

The show starts at 9.30.

Lights! Canberra! Action! kicks of this evening (Fri) at the National Museum at 6pm. No actual films to see until March 13, but if you want to try your hand at filmmaking and take part in the competition, get along to the launch this evening.

Computer Fair Old Bus Depot Saturday 10AM – 2:30PM. $3.00 entry, accompanied kids free.

There’s Nicole Kidman as a puppet, Bart Cummings with mega eyebrows and a really ugly Peter Garrett pi$$ing into a nuclear waste barrell.

All are for sale, some are cheap. Really cheap pottery vases and mugs in the room next door.

And the country comes to town out at the Royal Canberra Show.
