Its that time again where the weekend is almost upon us and there are those amongst us who’s minds wander to all the exciting plans for the weekend; like doing washing, watching the wallabies run out against the French in the Rugby Union on satruday night, or going through that huge pile of receipts in preparation for getting your tax return in early. Those of us who are out and about enjoying the sights and sounds of our fair city should feel free to let us know what’s on in the comments.

and brekky yest’y – cheers to qwerky for organising. and a nice hat, btw.

Lots happening this weekend. Masturabtion, radio listening, improv theatre. Its all happening here right in our nations capital! Jesus I love Canberra!

Didn’t find any giant bargains today, but got some good stuff! Target were flogging bags containing 2 euro pillows (aka “big cushions”) for 20 bucks, that was all right.
And a white fake fur blankie.

Rebecca De Unamuno – (The Chaser, Comedy Inc, World Champ Improviser).

Forgot to add it’s on Sunday at 7.30pm

Oh, I would have gone to that if I’d known earlier but I have something else on! I did an impro course a couple of years ago and it was great fun. Scary as, though…

‘I might listen to 2CA…………I might masturbate.’

From the looks of the 2CA thread, there’ll certainly be a few doing that.

(Jesus Goddamn, what is wrong with you people? Someone shows their covered breasts and you’re falling over at her feet. Most people would say you need to get laid. I say you need to look up some porn at least first!)

Frequently Asked Questions playing at Z brasserie in Tuggers Saturday 28 June, 7 – 11pm. But you might have to book.

And Spectrum Big Band, SaxInTheCity and assorted others playing for the Highland Ball at the Hellenic Club, also Saturday 28 June.

Not quite the weekend, but Raiders V Sharks Bruce Stadium, Monday night, 7.00pm kick off. Buy and wear a red nose to the game and be part of the world record attempt.

Boys night out….only it’s at my place ’cause I have to look after the kids. Otherwise I’m sure there’s a band or two on at the Venue?

Riotact breakfast this weekend. And lots of EOFY sales, anyone know if there’s any really good sales with giant bargains etc? Or just the usual fake sales?

Anyone know who’s playing in the tennis late tonight? I just googled but couldn’t find it, and thought perhaps a tennis fan here might know…

Mrs Neanderthalsis mentioned something to me about going on a ranger guided walk to observe platypus in their natural habitat on Saturday. It all sounded very David Attenborough to me…

if it is in the morning, make sure you have many layers of clothing on. the platypus area is very cold at tidbinbilla, if that is where it is at….
