National Day of Action for Same-Sex Marriage Rally and March.

Meet at Garema Place, 1pm on August 1st, where there will be a rally and ‘Illegal’ Same-Sex Marriage Ceremony, followed by a march to Bob McMullen’s office.

Arc – St. Kilda Film Festival tonight and Saturday, the Moon Shots festival continues Saturday with Robert Altman’s COUNTDOWN, the Oscar-nominated Music doco CHET BAKER: LET’S GET LOST is on Saturday night, Harold Pinter continues Sunday with THE PUMPKIN EATER and J-Noir is also on Sunday with BLACK RIVER. ANU Film Group – Friday night is X-men night, with WOLVERINE at 8pm followed by the original X-MEN. Saturday 6pm is the Australian claymation HARVIE KRUMPET. Malkara Model trains (and other models) exhibition is on this Sat and Sun at Malkara school in Garran. Its their major fundraiser for the year and its excellent- especially if you can find a small boy (or not so small boy!)to take along.

Blink of an eye? I dunno about others, but this week seems to have dragged on forever!
