went to an awesome house gig yesterday in the blithe spring afternoon – canberra’s own night parrots and sydney’s ryan coughlan – the latter a talented sound engineer [for oz idol and other shows] but a wonderful folk writer/singer who really ought to get a spot at the folk festival (first public gig for some years, buggered if i can see why). who should he speak to about that?

Swedish Christmas Bazaar Sunday 29 Nov. (from 2-5pm). Held at Yaramundi reach (b/n Zoo and National Museum). There will be a Swedish choir, food, decorations and craft and stuff for kids to do.
A map and more info available here..
