Do ACT sex shops need to get food permits for edible undies?

So, they introduce these law’s now… and correct me if I am wrong… but haven’t we been consuming Chocolate Body Paint for quite a few years already?

Are they GST-exempt if they’ve been worn but not licked?

Does this apply to all items that go into your mouth, or do you have to actually swallow?

GST is only papable on food it it’s pre-prepared, like a takeaway burger or a pre-made cake, or if it’s confectionery or the like.

So, GST would be payable if you intend to eat them in the shop, but if you intend to take them home to prepare for eating later then no, GST is not payable.

Would GST be payable on this item (fresh foods are exempt). For example if you buy a live fish from the markets as food it is exempt from GST but if you buy it as a pet you are supposed to pay GST.
