ACT Policing is seeking to identify a man in relation to two aggravated robberies which occurred at the 7-Eleven service station in Melba in early December (1 December, 8 December).
In both instances, a large knife was produced and the offender threatened employees making demands for cash and cigarettes before fleeing on foot.
The man is described as 180cm (5’11”) tall with a slim build.At the time of the robbery on 1 December his face was concealed by a scarf and he was wearing dark coloured clothing.
At the time of the robbery on December 8 he was wearing a black ‘hoodie’ with the hood over his head, purple t-shirt, black shorts and black shoes.
Police are urging anyone with information which can assist in identifying the man to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
