ACT Policing has released a CCTV image of five offenders from an aggravated robbery in Glebe Park last week.
Around 10pm last Wednesday 2 March, 2011, two males and two females were walking through Glebe Park when they were approached by a group of four males and one female.
Two of the victims were struck over the head with bottles, while the other two victims were kicked and punched. The offenders stole the victims’ wallets, phones and bags, and then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
All five offenders are described as being Caucasian in appearance, with one of the male offenders described as being tall with short hair. Another male offender is described as aged in his late teens or early twenties, and was wearing shorts and a grey hooded jumper at the time of the assault.
The female offender is described as having a slim build, of an average height and has blonde hair.
Anyone who may recognise any of the offenders from the image, or was near Glebe Park at the time of the aggravated robbery last week is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information may be provided anonymously.
