ACT Policing is investigating the theft of a six-month-old pitbull x stolen from the RSPCA in Weston overnight.
Police were called to the RSPCA in Kirkpatrick Street where it was reported that sometime between 6.00pm on Thursday night (July 28) and 8.30am on Friday morning (July 29) unknown person(s) have forced entry to the RSPCA and removed the dog from one of the kennels.
The six-month-old male pitbull x is white in colour, with a tan coloured patch on the left side of its face.
Police would urge anyone who knows the whereabouts of the stolen pitbull to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
