Geoff Dunn from Lushpup Images has sent in this corking photograph with this note:

here’s an IOC for you … captured last weekend after the Sunday afternoon storm that went through south of the lake. This is shot from the Kingston Foreshore looking east toward the wetlands. Hope you like.

Thanks everyone. You don’t see them like this very often and I was fortunate enough to have been caught in Griffith on my bike with my gear on board. I chased this one down to the Kingston foreshore after the storm passed over and was rewarded with this sight. It was worth getting a drenching for.

Captured using a Sigma 10-20mm … always nice to have a lens that can get both ends of a rainbow 🙂

Great image, Geoff. Well done.

It’s a Sign that a True-Born Queen will come from the North and wave her Orb over all in her benighted Dominion. And pause to smell the tulips.

Wow, that is just amazing! Great capture!

That’s bucking frilliant! always said one of the hardest shots to get is an evenly lit full rainbow, you’ve nailed it.

I’m sure I can spot some unicorns and fairies dancing under those trees!

Stunning pic. 🙂
