We had wondered how long the Chief Minister’s website (The Government’s primary mode of communication with the Governed) would continue to feature Jon Stanhope’s head on every single page.

Right now it has this message:

The Chief Minister’s website is currently unavailable due to site maintenance. It will be back online from 5.00pm 18 May 2011. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Can we get a better coat-of-arms while we’re doing some renovations? The old one sucks.

I am a bit dissapointed Jon didnt answer my emails about Action buses & bike racks before he left……….

Probably better than being disappointed by the answers.

I am torn by the lack of either. I guess I will have to get over it….

The collective resources of ACTION and TAMS are seemingly unable to answer emails regarding the bus network or MyWay, so the chances of the top brass responding would be at long odds.

You can still get to the website by going to http://www.chiefminister.act.gov.au/index.php and it gets around that construction page. His Chiefly still features, but with a banner announcing his resignation.

I’m disappointed they didn’t use that sign of web excellence, the “under construction” symbol with the man digging.
