The ABC brings word that the Director of Public Prosecution has decided to appeal the sentence of Owen Creighton for the Clift Crescent deaths in Richardson.

In October, Creighton was sentenced to six months in custody followed by 12 months in weekend detention.

The DPP launched an appeal, saying the sentence is inadequate and Creighton deserves more than six months in full-time detention.

The hearing will be in February.

Kill two people, and get 6 months in the boob, followed by weekend detention. Nice.
