A 42-year-old Lyons man has been caught drink-driving for the seventh time.

Around 1.20am this morning (Saturday, 13 September), the man was observed almost colliding with a parked vehicle in Tuggeranong.

Members from Tuggeranong patrol attended and the driver underwent a roadside breath screening test, which returned a positive result.

The driver was conveyed to the Tuggeranong Police Station where he underwent breath analysis, which returned a result of 0.162.

Due to his level of intoxication and previous offences, the man was arrested and transported to the ACT Watch House.

The 42 year-old Lyons man was charged with traffic offences including drink driving. He was bailed to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.

Don’t just throw the book at him, destroy the car. Otherwise he just won’t learn.

Keep the car, destroy him instead. The car is useful, he is a waste of skin.

throw the book at him. I’m embarrassed that he is the same age as me. He should know better.

Where he will inevitably get a mere fine and slap on the wrist from out p*ss poor judicial system and be able to re-offend for the 8th time shortly after.

Sign, next…

throw the book at him. I’m embarrassed that he is the same age as me. He should know better.
