Drug busts in McKellar and O'Connor

ACT Policing officers have seized a quantity of illicit substances and cash after a search warrant was executed on a house in McKellar on Sunday (18 September).

Officers from City and Belconnen general duties entered the McKellar house around 3pm, allegedly locating heroin, electronic scales and an amount of cash.

The potential street value for the seized drugs is estimated to be in excess of $5,000.

A 53-year-old man and 30-year-old woman, who are residents of the house are assisting police with their enquiries.

ACT Policing officers have seized a quantity of illicit substances after a search warrant was executed on a house in O’Connor yesterday (19 September).

Following information obtained during the search warrant in McKellar on Sunday (18 September), officers executed a warrant on an O’Connor house yesterday.

During the warrant, police located and seized a quantity of illicit substances, alleged to be methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $13,500.

The 30-year-old O’Connor woman who resides at the house is assisting police with their enquiries.
