The AFP has put out an amusing media release on a raid they conducted in Fisher today which netted a nice haul of the green gear.

A 64-year-old woman is to be summonsed at a date to be determined in relation to the seizure.

Someone’s going to have quite the story to tell the bridge club.

Glaucoma perhaps?

Then again, she might be a rough-as-guts dealer, you never know.

Some people seem to have the misconception that once you sixty you suddenly become a saint who enjoys long naps, cups of tea and Bert Newton. I’m afraid this isn’t always the case.

As Thumper alludes, 64 isn’t that old in the grand scale, and if it’s something you’ve done all your life, you’re not going to stop just because you can ride the bus a little bit cheaper.

the AFP made a media release ?

its ok, I’m sure the canberra times will report is as “evil granny caught with 10 marijuana plants, estimated street value of 4.7 million dollars.”

God forbid if it might be for personal use (legal issues on the matter aside), and that being so old she might not trust banks, and that 2000 is her savings or something…

‘Someone’s going to have quite the story to tell the bridge club.’

Yeah, but the cookies she always brought would never taste the same…..
