Hi Rioters!

Im looking for a dry cleaner who can do wedding dresses…

I have heard some horror stories, and seen some horrific rips and stains on newly-cleaned wedding dresses…

Has any ladies, or men, used a great one?? or ones to avoid?

I’m with marcothepolopony. My wife worked for First Choice (not Woden) for a while and regularly reported having to deal with unhappy customers whose clothing items had disappeared. The poor staff representing First Choice in the stores have to deal with the fall-out caused by the lackadaisical handling practices of the company.

We put a simple style wedding dress in for cleaning at First Choice at Woden in November last year and that is the last we saw of it. Date on docket for collection: 26/12/2011.

Despite many calls, visits to the shop front, there is no sign of the very valuable dress.
I am told to call Sydney if I want an answer.
Fortunately we are versed in legalities, and will use our talents to fight First Choice.

Do not use them under any circumstances.

Garren shops are what you should be looking for. Have heard they are pretty responsible people.

I used Top Cat Dry Cleaners in Kingston for my wedding dress. It took about 1 week and came back in a nice storage box.

+1 for dry cleaners at Garran.

The dry cleaners at the Garran shops were excellent. They got a raspberry stain out that was on there for a few weeks (we married overseas and travelled). Boxed it too.
