So, it seems like it’s already Easter, at least, over in West Belconnen it is.

I saw Hot Cross Buns at the woolworths there yesterday afternoon. Discounted for sure (I assume because they don’t sell yet)

But it makes me wonder – what else have you seen advertising Easter so far ?

Coles in Manuka had the eggs out on Boxing Day, as I recall – they probably did the actual changeover on the night of Christmas Eve (since I can’t see them paying people to come in and do it on Christmas Day). I suspect that they do it this way to save them the trouble having to pay the stock-monkeys to change the displays over twice between Christmas and Easter…

Why don’t the shops put up Christmas trees with Easter Eggs hanging off them – then they could leave them up all year!

dodgy bastards…

i’d like to see the chocolate hot cross buns from Brumby’s all year round, thankyou.

These holidays are bleeding into one another. Soon we’ll see no distiction between them.

I nearly ran down an Easter bunny somewhere near Jerilderie late last week.

I saw the small solid eggs out on a Coles shelf on Boxing Day when I was interstate. Boxing Day!!!

i bought easter buns (as they were labeled) at coles belconnen last night. they had chocolate ones, ones with no fruit, ones with no peel and ones with added peel.

Easter Eggs at Coles Manuka New Years Eve at the front of the store so you couldn’t miss them!

Solid easter eggs at Big W in Gunghalin on 28th Dec

Well, the eggs were out at my local coles on New Years Eve…
