The Japanese Embassy is erecting a businesslike wire mesh fence all around its perimeter and taking in part of the pavement on the street that runs off Empire Circuit.

At least 9 or 10 gaijin toiling all morning AND the lovely old cotoneaster hedge (well, I liked it) is being cut down and fed, in sections, into the pulveriser. The new fence may well keep out the odd demonstrator, but it also exposes the buildings which were, up to new, discreetly sited behind the thick tall hedges.

Nothing would surprise me from those ‘very honourable’ people. The whales would have been much happier if we’d finished the Japanese off in ’45!

Perhaps this is a signal that the Japanese government is preparing to push harder on the whaling issue…

I bet the electricity they attatch to the businesslike wire mesh fence will.

I don’t know what your talking about Che and neither does Kramer

I bet it doesn’t stop the noisy hooligans over the back fence from pissing on the garden at 3 in the morning
