Bring the family for Super Sunday, the Gallery’s free monthly program for the whole family.
Explore the wonders of the Gallery and take part in art making, storytelling, music and dance. With an ever-changing program Super Sunday is held on the last full weekend of every month.
Be inspired by the striking prints of artist Arone Meeks as you create a landscape image with string or join an iPad drawing tour to create botanical illustrations. Do the wombat-wobble with award winning Wiradjuri singer Johnny Huckle as he shares his heartfelt songs about love, identity and spirit. Then, listen to a tale of Enora and the Black Crane with Arone Meeks or view Carriberrie, a virtual reality experience presented by the National Film and Sound Archive that shares the wonder of movement throughout Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. Before you leave, witness a performance by local dance group the Wiradjuri Echoes and learn their moves in a cultural workshop for all ages.
