You don’t have to be alone when the postal results come out: join your community for Big Gay Out.
This postal survey period has been a stressful time for many LGBTIQA+ community members and allies. But whichever way it goes, you don’t have to face the results alone – the enthusiastic members of the queer community group ‘Friday Night Lip Service’, with support from ‘Australian Marriage Equality’, wants you to join them for the Big Gay Out, a picnic and some solidarity!
There will be music, food, games and plenty of LGBTIQA+ folks and allies to keep you company and see you through this. The organisers will be there until 12 pm, so take the day off and join them or just come down for your lunch break. Bring food to share!
This is a welcoming (and celebratory!) space for trans, intersex, non-binary, queer, gender diverse and LGB people.
