Christmas comes early to Gowrie with Holy Family Christmas fete

It’s going to be a very merry Christmas in November with Holy Family Primary School’s Christmas fete!

Who said you have to wait until December to get into the Christmas spirit? The Holy Family Primary School in Gowrie certainly don’t want to wait that long, and with their Christmas fete on 25 November, you won’t have to either!

Held at the Holy Family Primary School premises on the corner of Castleton Crescent Gowrie, this fun-filled event has everything you would expect at a fete – fun stalls for the young and young at heart, including the ever-popular show rides and sideshow alley, pony rides, face painting, hairspray, show bags, badge making, sand-craft, photo booths, pick-a-pot, pick-a-pop and the student’s favourite, ‘Soak the Teacher’!

There will also be lots of delicious food, including Devonshire Tea, Greek cuisine, and a good Aussie fashioned BBQ. Enjoy the food and fun while a great line up of local entertainers, Christmas carolers, along with community and sporting groups keep you entertained throughout the day.

If you’re the type to leave your Christmas shopping until it’s too late, here’s your opportunity to become the family favourite – the fete will also include an array of handmade gift stalls so you can find that perfectly unique Christmas gift. It will also feature a Christmas pantry, craft, cake and plant stalls, second-hand books, toys, children’s clothing and much, much more.

All funds raised at the fete will support the purchase of learning resources and equipment for the exciting new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) initiative at Holy Family Primary School.
