| Lachlan Roberts

The ACT Government’s economic outlook isn’t likely to get your heart racing but if you live in Canberra, the ACT budget will definitely affect you.
This important event provides a valuable opportunity to hear details of the budget first-hand as the ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr delivers the 2018-19 ACT Budget.

Be there as the announcements are made and find how the Budget will affect you with commentary from Commsec Chief Economist, Craig James.

The morning will conclude with a panel discussion with representatives from key business sectors with the ACT and the surrounding region.

Board member of the Canberra Business Chamber Archie Tsirimokos says the budget is a perfect opportunity to rub shoulders with the Chief Minister and to hear first-hand the Government’s decisions that will affect you.

“The breakfast will give real insight into the next 12 months and what direction the Government is planning on taking in our territory,” Mr Tsirimokos.

“It will be an opportunity for Canberrans to chat with Mr Barr and ask him questions. He will be available for people to ask him questions and he is a very open man and will be happy to chat.

“Though most of the announcements have already been revealed by the ACT Government before the Treasurer gets to his feet, there will be a few announcements that will be a little surprise for people on Wednesday morning.”
