A Meet the Maker with a difference, we’re excited to be hosting this unique wine and food pairing. Celine Rousseau, Winemaker from Eden Road is joining us for a gorgeous evening exploring the differences between the local and French wine varieties, and what makes French wine so special… or not? How does it actually compare when side by side our beautiful Australian varieties?
Starting with canapés and bubbles, you’ll be treated to a four course dining experience by our talented Executive Chef with a local Eden Road and French drop at every step to taste the difference, and then explore the techniques and passion behind each bottle.
Celine Rousseau is highly regarded by her peers as one of the best winemakers in Australia, and with an engaging personality and her honesty, she’s a welcomed extension of our team here are the Estate, open with sharing her philosophies and processes. Celine was born in Paris but arrived in Western Australia in 1997 and then returned to train in Bordeaux, where she honed her skills in Chateaux, Champagne and Languedoc in France, as well as in Western Australian wineries.
This will be an intimate evening with good food, good company and great wine.
