After years of writing and recording in the UK, Penelope Trappes is coming to the Ainslie Salon, fresh from her Australian debut at Dark Mofo 2022.

Penelope is a UK-based Australian born vocalist, musician and etherial soundscaper whose music features percussionless, reverb-heavy, haunting atmospherics with themes of dystopia, mortality and epigenetics.

ALPHAMALE is an experimental solo viola project by Hannah de Feyter. Her work includes Early Music Australia release BOY NOISE // MOTHERS NATURE, sound design for feminist erotica project Four Chambers, and a series of silent film scores highlighting the lost or forgotten contributions of women to the early film industry.

Box Office and Bar open from 6:30 pm

Presented by Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres with support from Commonwealth Government’s Live Music Australia Fund and MusicACT.
