Come along to the main paddock at Pialligo Estate for a Sunday full of market stalls and activities that will be sure to delight both adults and children alike!

With a range of local stallholders showcasing gourmet food, wine, spirits and live music throughout the day; there will be something for everyone.

In case of wet weather, please keep an eye on the Facebook page.

There will also be a kids cooking competition with two age groups – 8 – 12 year and 13 – 18 years.

To enter, create a dish using at least one Pialligo Estate product – this could be any product from the Smokehouse, the market garden, or the kitchen. To find the products, visit the Estate and pick up some goodies from the Garden Pavilions shop, order online or visit one of our stockists.

Take a photo of your dish and send your photo to marketing@pialligo.estate, include in your email – a description of the dish in less than 50 words, your name, age, phone number and contact email address by Tuesday 20 February 2018 at 11:59 pm.

Three entrants will be shortlisted from each age category by a judging panel appointed by the promoter. The judging criteria will be based on the originality of the dish, creativity, presentation, and the essential use of a Pialligo product. The six shortlisted entrants will be announced on Pialligo Estate’s Facebook page.

The six lucky kids shortlisted will have the opportunity to attend and participate in the cook-off at Pialligo Estate Farm Gate Markets on Sunday 4 March 2018. This will involve cooking in front of an audience, with support from Pialligo Estate staff and chefs. Shortlisted entrants will be notified of the ingredients that will be available to cook with a few days before the event so they have time to think about what dish they might like to make. The best chef on the day will win a prize.
