A midwinter’s evening with timeless eastern European melodies that your ears can snuggle into like a well-worn cosy jumper, a plate of hearty stew and a nip of the good stuff!
Super Rats and Gang Gang Cafe present ‘Winter Revels’ dinner and concert. Grab a table at Downer’s cosiest venue and enjoy some nourishing winter fare and the delightfully strange-yet-familiar music of Super Rats, Canberra’s Romanian folk band. Featuring the antique goodness of the 145-stringed cimbalom, plaintive violin, exotic accordion, and sturdy double bass.
Tickets are $40 for a meal, a nip of Uncle Vasile’s Balkan Finest to welcome you in, and the concert (90min with break).
There will be a vegetarian and meat option for the meal. Please select your preference when purchasing the ticket.
