Canberra Ice Dragons Dragon Boat Club?

The Canberra Ice Dragons Dragon Boat Club will be commencing it’s winter/off-season training schedule from Saturday 11 July 2020. From Friday 19 June 2020, dragon boating in the ACT is permitted to return to normal paddling with 20 paddlers, a sweep and drummer allowed in a boat.

Whilewinter in Canberra might not be the most ideal time to jump in a dragon boat, winter and off-season training is focussed on being social, friendships and having fun. Layer up, prepare to get a little wet, bring a drink bottle and head to the Canberra Yacht Club … warm up from 10.15am to get on the water by 10.30am for a session of around 1 hour.

Restrictions relating to the pandemic still apply and the Ice Dragons will be taking great care to ensure the safety of all paddlers and following DBACT’s Return to Play COVID-safe Plan.
