The Parliamentary Library has put out this report on the Bogong moth. So next time you see a white wall turned brown or get freaked out when a big furry moth attacks you in the shower you can be enlightened as to why they are visiting our lovely city.

Perhaps those moths have had their feelers in some of that good parliament house coke?

Nice to see that the Parliamentary Library has such important things to do.

Hey Thumper, I’ve just had a bowlful of these things for dinner tonight (including the wings for extra crunchiness) – and man, they make you TRULY HIGH! Ever noticed that?

Delicious when fried in coconut oil, with a fine sprinkling of lemon juice on top. More please.

They are quite bad around the parliamentary triangle area (because of parliament house). I rarely see any out at Gungahlin (even the moths won’t live there!).
