Madame Reid has finally succeeded in registering as a voting member.
But so too has the Great and Powerful Bob Winnell on a date which suggests the world is rather more interesting that we might have guessed:
The exclusion of party elders like Mrs Reid and property magnate and heavyweight fundraiser Bob Winnel, as well as hundreds of grassroots members, from the initial contest angered many of the Liberals faithful.
Mr Winnel, local party’s greatest fund-raiser managed to register as a preselector on February 31 on his fourth attempt.
