Fairfax Digital and the Austereo radio network have agreed that radio stations Triple M and Today FM will use Fairfax’s platfrom for their websites.

The deal seems to be quite open ended at the moment, with lots of room for expansion. One wonders if, given Fairfax doesn’t currently have a big presence int he Canberra market, they might see the FM 104.7 and Mix 106.3 websites as a good way in.

Certainly, to me at least, both those websites are rather garish, slow to load and hard to navigate and I think moving to a proven platform could only be an improvement.

Wow – when I first arrived in Canberra 4 years ago I thought 104.7 (and the other local stations) were crap. It’s gone downhill from there???

Well, in my view at least, 104 has really gone down hill in the last year. I say bring NOVA to Canberra.

And yes, the websites are shit, you will often find broken links and whatnot.
