Wow! That’s a lot of cash flying around there isn’t it? $20,000 for a hip-hop festival, double-wow.

As long as it doesn’t go to Summernats I’m happy.

Although I wish they could have thrown a bit in the direction of Metal For The Brain back in the day.

It’s either that or groups of people dropping their pants and bending over.

After the hip hop expo, they will donate all the Large Trousers to be converted into tents for refugee camps in Rwanda.

How about the Canberra fisherman’s club buy $6k of dynamite and use it on the hip hop expo, please.

So Summernats gets a grant which averages under $15K a year, and the world is at it’s throat.

Somethings not quite fair here.

Canberra Fisherman’s Club – To assist with costs of the Canberra Carp-Out – $6,000

Wow, six grand will buy a lot of dynamite to get rid of the carp…

Canberra has a hip hop expo?

Jesus wept…

Celebrating festivus soundslike a good idea p1. Wonder if there’d be any funding available.

Looks good. I left for London 10 years ago this month so no wonder I haven’t heard of it.

Multicultural festival doesn’t get funding?

Its an ACT Government event – its budget comes from the department that runs it.

2009 Moon festival? Intriguing.

Been running for 10 years. If you’ve never been, have a look here.

2009 Moon festival? Intriguing.

Multicultural festival doesn’t get funding?

…..or, they could just give it all to Chic

Must be the season, I miss read the title and thought that the government was funding festivus.
