Fire at Eddies

ACT Fire & Rescue have responded to reports of a fire in a light switch at St Edmunds Collage, on Canberra Ave, Griffith.

The fire has been extinguished.

Two fire Pumpers, one command vehicle and the Hazardous Materials Unit are currently on scene conducting Atmospheric monitoring.

Time of Emergency Triple Zero call (OOO) at 3:50pm.

Minimal damage with no injuries.

Time for the school to get all their wiring checked, and fixed if need be. Im sure theres still alot there that dates to 1954.

must have been a slow day for Fire and Rescue, or else it was a very big light switch.
